What’s more fun than us kicking off an event with Flop Balls? Empowering student leaders to do it. A group at Penn State University Lehigh Valley can now run workshops and energizers with Flop Balls during New Student Welcome Day.

We recently visited campus to conduct our Play to Lead workshop which gave them the skills to help build connections amongst their fellow students with this new tool. It also provided them with strategies for creating an environment to allow it to happen comfortably. 

The students have ideas for integrating the Flop Balls not only on this one day, but for events throughout the semester to increase engagement and build community. Pam Fleck, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, reflected on the day: 

‍“At our wrap up “the Flop Balls” received the most mentions for best part of the day. I knew it would go well but didn’t anticipate such buy-in from our students.”‍
