Twisted Fun: Balloon inflating, tying, and safety begin the workshop, but then the creativity takes over! Basic balloon animals or hats can be taught in one session.

 

Juggling 101: Three ball jugging is broken down into simple, easy to learn steps. Participants will be given individual feedback as well as learn how to give constructive feedback to peers.

 

Single session workshops can introduce basic juggling skills but participants will see continued skill development over multiple sessions.

Writing with Balloons: Writing can be fun. Students may not want to believe it, but after this engaging hands-on session, they will agree. The workshop teaches students basic balloon twisting skills and serves as a tangible lesson about how to approach writing. Students will see a definite connection between the creative process used in both balloon twisting and writing.

 

Jugglers, Jesters & Fools: Participants will work in teams to uncover the rich history of juggling through primary source documents. Students will then have an opportunity to experience this art form through a hands-on juggling lesson.

 

Juggling with “Catherine, Called Birdy”: Make literature and the medieval times come alive in your classroom. Major themes of the book are emphasized during an interactive, hands-on juggling lesson. This workshop can be adapted to other works of literature.

Barriers are immediately broken when balloon come out. This playful workshop introduces basic balloon twisting skills. Participants then face balloon twisting challenges that reinforce positive team work and creative thinking.
