Flow Circus offers a range of professional development/inservice programs for school, library, afterschool, camp and corporate staff. Programs and workshops use juggling, skill toys, or balloon sculpting to actively engage participants. Past clients include educational institutions, civic organizations, and Fortune 500 companies.
Twisted Teams: Barriers are immediately broken down when balloons come out. This playful workshop introduces basic balloon twisting skills. Participants then face balloon twisting challenges that reinforce positive team work and creative thinking.
Juggling Strong Leaders: Identify the qualities of strong leadership through the process of learning to juggle. Whether leading a classroom of students, managing a staff, or advocating for a professional organization, participants will be able to apply these characteristics to their roles as leader and team player.
Finding Common Ground: When we are faced with learning a new skill, we all react to the challenge in different ways. Through the process of playing with skill toys from around the world, participants will think about various reactions they may face from clients, staff, or children. Focus will be on how to best motivate ourselves and others to address obstacles to success.
Nothing New for Business Leaders: Paul's keynote presentations are refreshingly entertaining. He juggles. He performs magic. He engages and involves lots of audience members. But what he doesn't do: teach anything new.
Paul understands that the challenge to strong leadership and effective management is often not a lack of knowledge but rather, remembering a key insight at just the right moment. By pairing absurd scenarios and spectacular stunts with important business concepts, Paul creates visual images that make lasting impressions.
Nothing New for Business Leaders consists of several engaging routines:
Intro 2.0 – Fast paced and entertaining 137-slide Powerpoint presentation identifying Paul’s business background.
Five-Up – Five ball comedy juggling display to establish Paul’s other credentials that just don’t fit into a Powerpiont. (3-5 audience participants)
BEG’N for Success – A team of four audience volunteers attempt to break a world plate-spinning record while illustrating the importance of balance among economic sectors. (4 audience participants)
b (aka: Be Bold) - Deft sword and apple manipulation demonstrates key leadership qualities. (1 audience participant)
Nothing New for Business Leaders is perfect for Chamber of Commerce banquets, leadership banquets, board retreats, and professional conferences. Hands-on break out sessions on topics including teamwork, creative thinking, and leadership are also available.
Celebrating your staff, a company milestone, or a particular time of year? Stage performances are professional, 100% clean, and can be customized to your event's theme. Flow Circus is always looking to create corporate partnerships that help to bring the benefits of skill toy play to underserved tweens and teens in the United States and across the globe.
