Staff Bios

 

Paul Miller

 

 

 

Paul Miller has a B.A. in Accounting from Bentley College. After graduating in 1994 he took a job waiting tables and began honing his skills in comedy and the juggling arts. A self-taught juggler and performance artist, his influences include masters of silent film Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplain and physical stand-up comics such as Steve Martin and Robin Williams. Paul has toured his solo-show, Just Paul, across the US and recent credits include off-Broadway performances and Disney Cruise Lines.  In 1999, Paul founded Flow Circus with a mission to promote active learning and play through the juggling arts. Since then he has taught the juggling arts through camps, libraries, after school programs and professional conferences.

Dawn Daria

 

 

 

Dawn Daria has a B.S. in psychology and M.Ed. in Secondary Education/Social Studies. She has worked in a variety of formal and informal learning environments teaching everything from World History to Psychology to Red Cross Swimming Lessons. In 2005, she traveled to Greece and Cyprus as part of a Fulbright-Hays Seminar and presented her culminating project at the National Council for Social Studies Conference. After working in public schools for 6 years, Dawn has joined Flow Circus to further develop informal learning experiences that use the Variety Arts to engage students in the development of healthy lifestyles, character education, and 21st century skills.
